Spring Harvest Day 4

A really good day today although the weather has deteriorated here in Minehead - in fact during our Team Leaders' Meeting we had sleet/snow coming down.  What a contrast.  The news reported that the hottest place on record for March in Scotland last week recorded 9 inches of snow last night.  Has been drizzling on and off all day today.  Quite a varied programme for us on Team C today.  We stewarded in the Big Top for the bible study and this afternoon were in Crazy Horse with the 5-7s age group.  Back in the Big Top tonight for the Evening Celebration (Rachel Gardner speaking - very good) and the massive collection for Compassion which achieved a stewarding record of 3 minutes and 44 seconds!  Tonight ended with us stewarding the Centre Stage for Jonathan Veira Larger than Life which also entailed handing out CDs of Jonathan reading St. Mark's Gospel - a good resource for House Group.  Feet aching towards the end of the day and delighted to slip into bed.  Only one and a half days left to go.
