Spring Harvest Day 0

First full day here in Minehead as stewards but spent a lot of it waiting around to be allocated jobs.  We had two great periods of worship and the fellowship is as great as ever.  Already we've eaten a tremendous amount of food and this morning our hopes were raised when we were confronted by a huge selection of fried breakfast choices.  Unfortunately, this was only because it was the last day of normal Butlin's guests on site and tomorrow it will be back to the usual continental breakfast.  After lunch, another big meal of chicken curry and chips, the sit took on a very eerie atmosphere - so quiet with no guests anywhere - just Butlin's staff and Spring Harvest Team members.We had a further induction meeting this evening and finally went to bed at around 11 p.m.  Our last "early night" for some time probably.  Up tomorrow early for a team leaders' meeting straight after breakfast.  A great crowd of people and really looking forward to the next few days.
