Thom is in the middle of his
examinations and Sara is regularly picking him up after he has done them. Yesterday he had two papers and today has his
RS paper. He hoped for, and was
rewarded, with a question on the five pillars of Islam. Sara did her stint at Morning Star early
today and I attended Mid-Week Eucharist at St. John’s followed by a Staff Team
Meeting at Debbie’s. A fairly mundane
meeting which ended a little after midday.
Tonight I attended the eighth in the series of tutorials on pastoral
care which was chaired by the Diocesan
Leader of the Mothers’ Union (herself a vicar’s wife) on the pastoral care of
children. Our normal tutor, Howard, is
currently with a group of students in Turkey.
