Snow is expected at some time within the next 24 hours and there are major warnings today making our part of the country a "red alert" area. I had no need to leave the village today and so stayed at home. A relatively quiet day today although this afternoon I had to undertake some emergency work for a client by way of reviewing an employment document which needs to be finalised tomorrow morning. tonight we had a House Group of six - which is always a convenient number - and discussed gay marriage and homosexuality and the the church's approach to this. This arose out of Steve Chalke's controversial article in Christianity magazine and his radio interview on UCB Radio. As I went to bed this evening there is no evidence to suggest that bad weather is on the way - indeed, it seems to be warmer than it has been for some days now.
