Bizz-Buzz/Giants Win the World Series

Another lovely day in the States again today. After a leisurely breakfast of fruit and cereal we split into two groups - the girls went shopping at nearby Crabtree Mall and the lads went off for a drive around Franklin County stopping off at a Barnes & Nobles bookstore where I bought quite a few books on American history and had a coffee in Starbucks. I also looked at netbooks at the local Best Buys where they are about £80 cheaper than in the UK. They didn't have the Samsung I wanted but have an HP one which I needed to compare with the price in the UK. I will need to return there later this week. Tonight we ate salad and lobster tails and crab claws for supper and spent some time on the deck in the hot tub playing "Bizz-Buzz". In this game somebody starts the counting at "1", the person on the left "2" and so on until you reach a number which is either "7", a multiple "7" or a double number - e.g. 11, 22, and so on and instead of saying the number you have to say "Bizz". If you say the number then the rest of the players shout "Buzz" and you have to take a drink. The game recommences at "1" and off you go again. Great fun. Mary really enjoyed playing it and it is a good game to learn the times tables. Tom didn't join us preferring to watch the ice-hockey on television. We finished the evening watching the fifth (and as it happened final) game of the World Series with San Francisco Giants winning 3-1 and clinching the series 4 games to 1. A combination of poor pitching and fielding by the Texas Rangers and good batting by the Giants, including a great 3-Run Homer from Renteria secured the victory.
