Saints second from top!

Didn't wake up until 10 a.m. today! Had a strange dream that I was attending a seminar at Spring Harvest about the morality of receiving referral fees from solicitors! Not sure what all that was about! After the excesses of yesterday my breakfast consisted of an orange and a cup of tea. We all went into Southampton today and parked the car at IKEA. WE had lunch in IKEA's restaurant - oven baked fish and chips - with Anthony Tom and I leaving Sara and Mary to look around the shop whilst Tom and I went to St. Mary's for the Saints v. Exeter match and Anthony went to the station to get a train back to Salisbury. We were treated, this afternoon, to a wonderful game of football. Southampton were on fire and scored four goals without conceding any. Thanks to two late goals by Carlisle United, who were playing Huddersfield at Brunton Park, this evening Southampton found themselves in the second automatic promotion spot with a game in hand but still six points behind Brighton who managed a 5-0 win against Leyton Orient today. Saints play Dagenham & Redbridge on Monday evening (the Daggers are currently third from bottom) and a win there would help consolidate them in the automatic promotion spot. Nigel Adkins, however, wants nothing less than the championship. Grimsby Town also did amzingly well today wiyh a 7-2 home win against Mansfield Town! Feeling really tired tonight and will be going to bed early.
